North of Nowhere Presents: "19 Bands From Bellingham".

This was a compilation put out by an independent record label called North of Nowhere. Based in Bellingham, this was evidently a showcase of the local bands at the time. Not much was going on here other than the Grunge "phenomenon" hard at work. Overall, a pretty lame disc. I couldn't even locate any artwork for the release. Poop.

How many of these records do you have? Love the concept behind this blog. Funny you couldn't find artwork for this album.

I'm putting you on my blogroll.

North of Nowhere is a pretty cool name for a record label, though.

Oh, I know! There are a lot of sweet names in this project. Most of them wasted, of course. Thanks for the prestigious blogroll position. Maybe I'll get some readers!

I have this disk and artwork, if you're still interested.

The CD name is North of Nowhere. The label is Gritty Kitty Records, which was one guy (the guitarist in the guitar/violin band on it). Came out 1993 or 94. My bro is the drummer for Hussy. I gave him my copy after his is stolen.

I bet there's not 200 of those CDs ever made. That pretty much what the scene was here in Bellingham at the time. I miss my copy....
